Is it just me, or is the majority of DA obsessed with artwork of the perfect female form/face?
Every day I check the daily sections, atleast half of the selections are of women, kind of like how you see in fashion magazines... these perfect faces, perfect bodies, almost unachievable beauty... art isnt all beauty and perfection. I wish there were more deep and meaningful pieces put up than just a hot sexy lady. Yeah that's what the majority of people likesto see, but that's not what should be focused on in the world of art.. there's more to art and beauty than that.
What's the word, shallow..? I dont know.
It all starts to bleed together and every one of those perfect little girls look the same, the black and white goth woman giving a depressed stare into the camera, the sci-fi type of woman with large boobs.. the half naked anime female with the shy look on her face, blushing. I'm bored of all of that. C'mon people.. there's more to art than this. Maybe I'm just expecting too much from an ART site.
